3-Step Maintenance Program

Why spend a lot of time on pool care if you don't have to. The BioGuard 3-Step Program is the easy way to keep your pool sparkling clear and ready for fun.

Step1- Sanitize your water. Because BioGuard Silk Sticks and Silk Smart Sticks are stabilized chlorines, they aren't as susceptible to the sun's ultraviolet rays. The chlorine says in the water longer so you don't have to add as much as often. They dissolve slowly, releasing the right amount of chlorine into the water to give you 24-hour bacteria prevention. And the patented Silk technology makes the water feel better while protecting your pool with anti-corrosives and scale preventatives.

Step 2- Remove undesirable compounds and restore sparkle. Give your water back that sparkle by removing compounds that can dull or cloud it. BioGuard Smart Shock and BurnOut3 will oxidize out contaminants and restore water clarity.

Step 3-Prevent algae growth. At first, algae growth is invisible to the naked eye. By the time you see them, it's too late. You have a problem. The third and final step stops algae before it starts. Back Up was specially designed to work with stabilized chlorine. It works even better as the water warms. For pools with attached spas, use non-foaming Algae All 60 to prevent algae growth.

Free Computerized Water Analysis

Bring your pool water to Contemporary Watercrafters for a complete analysis to protect your pool and equipment and keep your pool looking brilliant all summer long. Just 1 quarter in a clean glass or plastic container is all we need to check your water balance and maintenance chemical levels. Bring an inventory of the chemicals you already have so we can guide you through the process of bringing your pool into balance. We recommend that you have your water tested at least 3 times a season:

1. At the beginning of the season, it is important to verify that your water is still in balance after sitting dormant all winter. After you have opened your pool, let it circulate at least 48 hours or more and then bring us a sample.

2. In the middle of the season, bring us a sample so we can see how things are going. Bouts with algae or excessive rain can affect water balance. Let us make sure that you are still on-track.

3. Before you close your pool, make sure your pool is in balance. You do not want to let your pool sit all winter if your water chemistry is incorrect. Have a winter analysis done 5-10 days before you winterize your pool.
